We had a fall break at school so we decided to take a little trip. We wanted a nice place to hang out and relax. BALI was the PERFECT place for that. I think this one of the best places we have been to.Bali is a beautiful island in Indonesia. We stayed at the Nusa Dua Beach Resort. It was so much fun. The kids had a blast.
The first day we went on a camel ride on the beach.
That evening we had dinner and a show at the hotel. It was a Hindu story about a princess that was stolen from the prince by an evil god. The prince asked Hanuman "the monkey god" to help rescue the princess. The kids were really into the show. Ryan was a little scared at first, but then he got used to it. We couldn't get him to take any picture with the dancers, but Carissa was sure willing.

The next day we took an Elephant Safari. Just our luck it was pouring when we got to the park. They gave us raincoats and umbrellas. It wasn't what we had hoped for, but it was fun. Luckily, about 5 minutes into the trek the rain stopped so the ride was enjoyable.

That evening was an early night in. We were all pretty exhausted.
