Each class gets to choose their team name. We came out with being the "BAD BABOONS".
I don't know how or why they chose that name. Each child, teacher and room mom get a t-shirt. There are four 3rd grade classes so they competed against each other.
The activities included the 50 yard dash, jump rope, obstacle course, sack race, dress the teacher, balloon pop, 100 yard dash. 
One of the events was dressing up the teacher, but since the teacher was not well she asked me to fill in. So I did....
Now...here I go being the bragging mom...Carissa ROCKED all events. I am not saying that just because I am her mom, I have video and pictures to prove it. This is about the most competition she gets. She craves and thrives on competition, but the school does not like to encourage it because kids who are not as talented get their feeling hurt.
The Bad Baboons were the toughest class. They won the tug of war against the other 3 classes.
All classes got medals, but these kids showed a "V" for victory.
It was a hot day, but the kids had so much fun!

It is quite comfy right now. We are in between 80 and 85.
